Lufthansa A380 now serving MIA

On Friday, June 10, the inaugural Lufthansa Airbus 380 flight connecting Miami and Frankfurt arrived at Miami International Airport (MIA) at 1:40 pm. The A380 is the world’s largest passenger aircraft and Lufthansa is the first airline to offer regular A380 services to/from MIA.
Lufthansa executives aboard the flight were greeted by Miami officials and members of the local Logistics community, including representatives from WTDC. Hundreds of airline enthusiasts also lined up along MIA’s Perimeter Road, including our own Paul Davis who snapped these stellar shots you see below.
